The inner courtyard begins from basement area, and become void of house until roof top terrace. This central courtyard structure becomes ventilation as well as natural light insertion volume. While inner courtyard has central partway to connect first part of this modern concrete home, one side of the void become staircase area. In the ground floor, next to central void are two bedrooms, each equipped with bathroom. As partitions that separate activities area with inner patio void, wooden lattice panels installed.
For basement level, actual patio with concrete floor with gravels accent become transition area to next 4 bedrooms area. Yup, this contemporary beach house has 6 bedrooms. There is unique bedrooms concept, especially for the bedstead. There are built-in concrete bunk beds for children, also completed with seating area. You can take the idea and for your own unfinished basement and turn unfinished basement into bedroom with built-in beds like this concrete house basement, or adding with built-in furniture, such as table.
